Welcoming free house nestling in a quiet village on the Hoo peninsular. The restaurant specialises in seafood on Fridays. B&B Accommodation of a high standard is available for those who wish to explore the area. The village has two main points of interest: the local church and graveyard, which was used in a film version of Great Expectations, and where Dickens drew inspiration for his book of the same title. It’s where Pip met Magwitch, and the nearby ruined castle. Master Brew pint kept to perfection by the landlord and good value home produced (and from local suppliers) menus available.

Venue has stated it may close early on occasions.
