Branch Competition.

Deadline: Friday, 13th March.

Rules.

  • Branches are responsible for managing this stage of the competition.
  • Branches must notify the Kent POTY Coordinator of their branch winner by the above deadline.
  • There is no embargo on announcing the results of the branch competition. Branches are advised to notify the winning pub before the results are made public.
  • Branches will order the certificate and arrange the presentation. They should inform the Kent POTY Coordinator of the date of the presentation.
  • Branches can request Branch POTY winner's rosettes from the County POTY Coordinator.

Branch Winners


East Kent. Mid Kent & West Kent Area Competitions.

Start: Monday, 16th March.
Deadline: Friday, 24th April.

We are judging the East Kent, Mid Kent and West Kent POTY competitions.:

  • East Kent area: Canterbury; DDS; Thanet.
  • Mid Kent area: AFRM; MMK; Swale.
  • West Kent area: GDV; Medway; West Kent.

The candidates for these three competitions are the winners of the branch competitions and are listed below. The winner will go through to the County stage of the competition.

Area Candidates

  • East Kent Area:
    • CANT: TBC.
    • DDS: TBC.
    • Thanet: TBC.
  • Mid Kent Area:
    • AFRM: TBC.
    • MMK: TBC.
    • Swale: TBC.
  • West Kent Area:
    • GDV: TBC.
    • Medway: TBC.
    • West Kent: TBC.

Rules.

  • Members can judge any area, except their own area.
  • A judge must judge ALL pubs, in the area they are judging, for their scores to be valid.
  • Judges must submit their scores to the Kent POTY Coordinator by the above deadline.
  • In exceptional circumstances, a brief extension to the published deadlines may be allowed. This must be discussed and agreed in advance.
  • The Area results will be announced to the Regional POTY Coordinator, Area Organisers (AOs) and respective branch contacts on Sunday, 26th April 2026.
  • Branches can inform the winning pubs but MUST ask them to embargo any publicity until Wednesday, 29th April 2026.
  • The Area results will be made public on Wednesday, 29th April 2026.
  • The Kent POTY Coordinator will order the certificates for the winning pubs.
  • The branch, liaising with the Regional POTY Coordinator and Kent POTY Coordinator, will organise the presentation.
  • The Kent POTY Coordinator will send the winning pubs their Area POTY rosettes.

Area Winners


Kent County Competition.

Start: Wednesday, 27th April.
Deadline: Friday, 12th June.

We are judging the County stage of the Kent CAMRA POTY competition. The candidates are the winners of the area competitions and are listed below. The winner will go through to the South East Regional stage of the competition.

County Candidates

  • East Kent Area:
    • TBC.
  • Mid Kent Area:
    • TBC.
  • West Kent Area:
    • TBC.

  • Any member can take part in the County stage, except from those branches where the County candidates are located.
  • A judge must judge ALL pubs, in the county stage, for their scores to be valid.
  • Judges must submit their scores to the Kent POTY Coordinator by the above deadline.

  • The Kent POTY Coordinator will send the winning pub with its County POTY rosette.
