This pub is now part of the small Whiting and Hammond chain and furnished in their smart style with exposed beams, stripped wooden flooring and numerous prints, old photos and information boards decorating the walls. While there is an emphasis on dining, there is plenty of space for drinkers in the bar area and also in the extensive garden to the side and rear of the pub. The bar sits alongside a fine old fireplace with a bull's head mounted above. There is a modern garden dining room at the rear, adjacent to the main body of the garden. Also serves breakfast between 10 and 11am on Friday and Saturday.
