Historic building originally dating from 1512, appears to have reverted now to principally a pub with a focus on ales. Many interesting features including two fireplaces, one with portrait carvings of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon in the wooden panels above. There is also an ornate grandfather clock and wooden corner "wishing chair". Re-opened on Monday 2nd June 2025 after a period of closure.
