Relaxed attractive wood-panelled pub almost on the beach, popular with visitors and locals. The guest beer is usually from a Kent brewery, and the house beer, Pearson's Arms Ale, 3.4%, is brewed by Adnams. The upstairs restaurant is run by chef Richard Phillips and has a great view over the beach. There is interesting bar food served downstairs.
