Michelin-starred gastropub on saltmarshes by the Thames estuary, with a seaside feel to the wood-panelled rooms and reclaimed timber tables, all of which are usually booked in advance by diners. Pride in local food extends to producing their own butter, bread and salt. Walls are hung with the work of local painters. Unfortunately, inside seating is reserved exclusively for restaurant reservations, and there is no inside seating for drinkers. There are tables outside.
