Previously the Happy Frenchman the pub has been significantly upgraded by Ramble Inns to become a food-oriented establishment. There are several areas to eat and drink plus a separate drinking area. The establishment is adorned with plumbing memorabilia. The pub is open for breakfast from 8am with the bar opening at 10am.

Pub has achieved fifth place in The Good Food Guide 2025 edition.
